Lorain County, Ohio Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for one day only on July 17, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.

Application Method

To apply while the waiting list is open, complete the online application.

The LMHA will also have kiosks available at the following locations during the opening period to submit an application:

• Lakeview Plaza, 310 Seventh St, Lorain 
• International Plaza, 1825 Homewood Dr, Lorain 
• Riverview Plaza, 310 East Ave, Elyria 
• John Fredrick Oberlin, 138 S Main St, Oberlin
